Brocade Launches New Solutions Testing to Support Brocade Solid State Ready Program
Brocade Communications is already fast becoming a leader in fabric-based networking and this week, the company has taken additional steps to increase support for the Brocade Solid State Ready program with new solutions testing initiatives.

The solutions testing is designed to give solid-state storage array vendors more tools to provide enterprise customers with seamless interoperability and performance for all-flash and hybrid arrays for software-defined data centers running VMware and other critical applications on Brocade Ethernet fabrics.

Increasing virtualization has led many businesses to move to a software-defined data center. These data centers can handle increasingly I/O-intensive workloads like virtual desktop infrastructures, data warehousing, and online transactional processing. Earlier this year, Brocade introduced the Solid State Ready program to help meet these needs and revolutionize the business data center.

The Solid State Ready program provides joint testing for Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NAS-based all-flash and hybrid storage arrays across multiple fabrics and servers.

Nimble Storage has already completed solutions testing, and other solutions are in the process to be completed soon.
